Free eBook: Password Incorrect

Passing through my Twitterstream from Stanza was an announcement of the first eBook published specifically for the Stanza eBook reading program.

Real slick, huh? Especially that iPhone which is displaying a great cover:



Now the instructions for the site tell you to access this URL:



via an iPhone (or iPod Touch) in order to get the eBook.

Not so. Just type that URL into your desktop browser and you can get it there too.

And then this is what the cover actually looks like, once opened in Adobe Digital Editions:



Bleh!

Even worse, the text has many formatting errors, making the effort look sloppy and uninviting to read.

Not a good showing.
